He is a PhD researcher at the Industrial Ecology Group of the Instituto Universitario de Investigación Mixto CIRCE - Universidad de Zaragoza. He studied the Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2014 - 2019) and the Master's Degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency at Universidad de Zaragoza (2019 - 2021). He has co-authored the report Metal Recycling. The alternative to mining, elaborated for the Mining Area of Ecologistas en Acción and published in February 2022. This report studied the potential for increasing the recovery of metals needed for the energy transition from the collection and recycling of end-of-life vehicles, batteries and electrical and electronic equipment. He is currently working on the development of his PhD thesis A low energy demand future for Spain in 2050: scenarios and strategies for energy descent.
