PhD. in Philosophy. He graduated in Physics at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, alternating his scientific training with militancy in different libertarian collectives, spaces where he acquired a collective and autonomous polyethics training and met for the first time with the critique of progress and technology. From 2014 he embarked on academic training in philosophy at the hand of Jorge Riechmann, with whom he studied the Master in Criticism and Philosophical Argumentation and reached the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 2018. This period coincides with his participation in the editorial collective of Ediciones el Salmón, a collective responsible for the publication of the journal Cul de Sac. Once that stage was over, he turned his militant work in Ecologistas en Acción, where he is one of the coordinators of the Digitalization and CEM Area, and in the collective La Torna. In the academic year 2020-2021 he was a professor of philosophy at the University of Deusto (Bilbao). Almazán has participated in several collective books, including Ecosocialismo descalzo, and has published dozens of articles on the relationship between technology and politics from an ecosocial perspective and the new rurality as a civilizing alternative. He publishes regularly in virtual newspapers such as Contexto y Acción (ctxt.es), eldiario.es or 15/15/15.
